Fishery Rules
Rods
Maximum of 3 rods per angler, which must not be left unattended.Line
No braided line, leaders or lead core. Minimum 15lbs nylon is recommended.Rigs
No fixed leads. Only rigs whereby the lead can come free in the event of a line breakage.Unhooking Mats
Large unhooking mats are compulsory. Please handle all fish with care and respect.Sacking
Sacking is not encouraged, but fish may be sacked for a very short time if assistance is required for photographing.Litter
Under no circumstances should litter be left on the lake. Please take away your litter.Fires
Absolutely no fires. Barbecues in the authorised areas only.Toilet and Shower

Only persons named on the Booking Form are allowed on the lake.Arrivals/Departures
Departing anglers must vacate the lake before 10am on the day of departure. Arriving anglers will not be permitted on to the lake until 1pm local time. A draw for swims will be made between 1.00 and 2.00 pm.Boats
Use of the fishery boat is strictly prohibited. Bait boats will be allowed on full lake bookings only.Fishing
From marked swims only.
Due to the size of the recent record common the following rules must be adhered to.
1. Once netted the fish must remain in the landing net in the water and the bailiff notified no matter what time day or night.
2. The fish must not be removed from the water under any circumstance until the bailiff is present.
3. The fish must be photographed and returned to the lake as quickly as possible. The fish should be on the bank for no more than 5 minutes.
4. When the fish is returned to the water it must be supported and till it can swim of its own accord.
