The Fish

Fishing to date has confirmed this lake to be prolific.

We have no real information regarding the original stock other than the previous owner had stocked carp when the lake was excavated. Over the last 3 years we have stocked a further 900 fish between 14 - 20lb including 100 target fish between 30 - 52lb. We have regularly fed these fish and have seen very encouraging growth rates of between 3-5lb per fish per year so far.

Test fishing to date has confirmed this to be a prolific 'run's water with 20 plus fish per day to be expected in the right conditions.

Facilities

Whilst being far from wild, we have created the lake to appeal to the slightly more adventurous angler. We are able to offer secure on site parking, legal night fishing and English W.C. and on site shower. Shared shower, lodge facilities, freezers etc are available approximately 3 miles away at our sister lake Etang La Saussaie. Fully inclusive meal packages, luxury transport to and from the lake, and an extensive supply of fishing baits are available. All swims can be reached by car (subject to weather conditions), parking being permitted at the side of the swim.

Booking Terms

Trip Price

The price is that shown on the booking form and is guaranteed from the date we receive your completed booking form and deposit.

Reservation

Your trip will be reserved when we receive your completed booking form and deposit.

Deposit

A deposit of 50% is payable when returning the Booking form to: 184 Nottingham Road, Nottingham, NG7 3PE. Cheques should be made payable to Planet Carp. The deposit is non-refundable.

Balance of Payment

The balance of the trip must be paid no later than 12 weeks before departure. Bookings made within this period must be paid for in full.

Insurance

It is the customer's responsibility to provide adequate personal insurance, since this is not within the scope of our insurance.

The Law

The signature on the Booking Form constitutes a contract between you and Planet Carp and is accepted by both parties to be subject to English Law.

Force Majeure

We are not liable for any loss, delay or cancellations due to the following: fire, storm, flood, closure of ports, weather conditions, acts of God, riots, political unrest, industrial disputes, war or any other event or circumstance beyond our control.

Liability

Under no circumstance shall our liability to you exceed the amount paid to us for your trip.

Fishery Rules

All persons agree to abide by the Fishery Rules.

Termination

We reserve the right to withdraw services if it is considered a person or person's behaviour is detrimental to the well being of our other patrons, employees, stock or property.

Complaints

In the unlikely event of a complaint, please direct this in the first instance to our on-site representative and all complaints should be confirmed in writing.
